Presentation on Social Network

Sorry for the late updated as you know, have some critical problems. Will try my best to solve it as possible.

My group; Myself, Zai, Shafwan, Zul and Lifa were did a presentation on 11th Sept on social network but one of them are not presented because of her family problem. We choose one of the social network was best on Twitter. The slide was telling about what is social networking services and why twitter? the features of twitter, some of the print-screen and the advantage and disadvantage of using the twitter.

How to upload PowerPoint presentation in Blogger?

1) Go to www.slideshare.net and create an account or just log in.
2) Click 'UPLOAD' if you want to upload one file or click 'UPLOAD+' for more files.
3) Select the file/files that you want to upload.
4) After finish uploading, go to 'My Uploads' on the upper right of your screen.
5) Click the files and you can see the word 'Embed' above your slide.
6) Click 'Embed' and then click 'Copy'

                                                    AND



7) Go to 'Layout' in your blog and add a gadget, 'HTML/JavaScript'
8) Then paste it on the 'Content' and Click 'Save'.

                                                     OR
7) Click 'New Post' in your blog
8) Then paste it and click 'HTML'
9) Click 'Preview' to confirm it and click 'Publish'
TIPS: After pasting the 'Embed', click 'HTML' first before writing your description.

Practicing Running Bed, Welding Workshop

Tuesday, 11st Sept, our instructor, Cikgu Haji Kula demonstrated on how to weld 'running bed' on the workpiece. 

By using a welding torch, the flame is produced from two different types of gas which are acetylene gas (Red) and oxygen gas (Blue).

First, make sure before your enter wherever workshop, safety must be worn, used your personal protective equipment such as safety goggle before you to start doing works. Turn on a little bit of the acetylene gas and test it at the back of your hand wherever the gas is coming out from nozzle. Then, use the spark gun to ignite the flame and turn on the oxygen gas to get a neutral flame for multipurpose welding.

To weld running beds on a workpiece, first, melt the metal from either edge of the workpiece. Since we had told to practice three times, start from right to left, leftward direction . As soon as the metal starts melt, move the torch toward in a suitable speed and you can use melt motion either a circular or straight toward the molten metal. Make sure the width of the running bed is approximately equal all the way.

Did a presentation on 5th September 2012 during E.C.A periods. The presentation was told how to create blogger account, what i have done, why i chose blogger, how can you find my blogs and how you can my follow my updates.

Presentation on blogs 1st Sept before start blogging.

We were given to select 5 topics of world wide blogs and were told to prepared a PowerPoint slide  presentation by groups in subject, IT Applications. My group; Myself, Zul, Safwan, Zai, Lifa and Kopral.

How to make a download link of a file for others to download?

Firstly you will need an online storage capacity, search through Google for any that interests you and have way to share your file with others, like 4Shared, Hotfile, MegaCloud and may be more.

I've been using MegaCloud as my online storage, briefly I'll be explain how to do it:

1) Go to MegaCloud by typing www.megacloud.com into the search engine and create an account if you haven't had an account yet, then log in the account.(so far MegaCloud only have 8GB free storage additionally capacity need to upgrade the account required payment to do so)

2) Inside your storage account you can create folder to store in files by clicking +New and rename the folder name.

3) Once you create folder by double click it you'll enter the folder or you can enter the folder by clicking the Browse on the left side of the +New button.

4) To upload your file just click the upload button found further right row of the +New button, and choose any file you wish to upload into your online storage, it will automatically upload the file into your storage.

5) Once the upload finish, if you wish to share your file with others in your Blog just click the share button found when you highlight your file you with to share, and copy the URL.

6) Inside your blog just click new post to make new entry, within it type your introduction you wish to type in, and click the link button to enter your file URL.

7) Post it once you finish with it and your friends can look through your entries, by clicking the URL your friend will automatically hyperlink to web downloader of MegaCloud to download your file.
